Welcome back empowered readers,
For this weeks empowered journal I wanted to discuss the notion of burnout in the workplace. Workplace burnout is a special type of work-related stress. What causes burnout?
The hardest part of coping with burnout is that one can feel shame. We can put on a mask for the world, but internally we are feeling isolated and exhausted.
Burnout will never go away on its own. The more you ignore burnout, the greater the risks in the future. Healing from burnout can take weeks, months or even years.
